Julia Helland26 Juin 2025Trustindex vérifie que la source originale de l'avis est Google. I was planning trip to France 6 months ahead of time. And I wanted something extraordinary. Some posh hotels in the city not what I wanted while we were in Provence. And I find unique, unforgettable and magnifique “Chateau de Campuget”. When we just arrived the first who greeted us was peacock 🦚 on the big gates. They have 3 of them: 2 wild and 1 they bought (he is always around and very friendly bird). People who want true experience with the Provence character - you will find it here! Each detail of this place just so original in its own beauty. We stayed in blue room. It has separate toilet and big corridor with big closet and another one in the room. Now practical things: 1) breakfast 8-10. I loved it 😍 all is fresh and so tasty! I was craving strawberries 🍓 and in the morning 1 what I saw were strawberries for breakfast among other things. Of course amazing and just from family member who have them 2 km away:) so you will not be hungry in this place after your breakfast for sure! 2) all questions you have about your stay- ask Louis. He is very friendly and knowledgeable about the area! 3) if you like to buy their own wine, rose (best wine for summer if you do not know it yet) , jams, honey, olive oil - shop open from 9–12 and 14-18 Monday - Saturday. Arthur is really great lad to talk and ask for wine tasting! 4) restaurant bistrot open Thursday - Sunday only in the evening. I cannot say much about food, we were very unlucky bc stayed Monday - Wednesday and bistro were closed. But I loved breakfast and I think supper would be superb as well. 5) the pool. It is clean, huge and while we stayed we were only ones there:) having 8 chaise longue, tables, and in your room or house (whatever you reserved) you will find towels for the pool. Pool hours: 8-20 (15 of May till 15 of September). Another thing to remember - it has robot cleaner on the bottom of the pool make sure you turned it off before go to swim! We just took it from the plug bc he tried to trick us 😂😂with power button being no light to yellow light. 6) there are lots of the good restaurants also in Arles and Nimes if bistro will be closed on your reserved dates. Parking is all underground and narrow in the cities so I would not take big car. The owner is very friendly and caring, always came to breakfast to ask how all are doing and had suggestions and tips for visits which we planned. So now about thing which no one can change it is Mother Nature- mosquitos 🦟 There are lots of them in the early morning and from 18-00. Our room had airconditioner and fan which is superb to have bc airconditioner is not enough when it is very hot. Bathroom was big and nice 👍🏻 have towel heater. But I would recommend bring your shampoo. We have big room I liked it very much but I would change one thing- why in such big room have such small bed (double bed) it can fit even king bed size but I would put the queen size! So we definitely will be back I will recommend this tranquil paradise to all our family friends in London UK 🇬🇧 linda fletcher14 Avril 2025Trustindex vérifie que la source originale de l'avis est Google. THE STORY FROM NORTH TO SOUTH
THE DALLE FAMILY
It’s the story of a family from the north of France who settled in this magical triangle between the Cévennes, the Camargue and Provence in 1942.
Today, the story of the Dalle family continues in its third generation, with Franck-Lin and Mathilde, who are leading the Campuget lands towards excellence, while remaining rooted in this unique terroir, driven by a desire to further strengthen its identity.

“Le Petit Journal de Campuget”
Food and Campuget wine pairing

With the arrival of summer and the return of grilled meats with Provençal herbs, particularly popular at our Bistro, we recommend pairing this dish with a glass of a Mourvèdre red wine, with a fresh and light attack, balanced and refined thanks to its traditional, sulfite-free production.
A Campuget video to learn more and enjoy it in your glass,
“Bon appétit”!
Save the date
Take advantage of your stay at Château de Campuget to enjoy Jeudis de Nîmes all summer long, which enliven the city center with festive and friendly evenings, until the end of August.
Night markets, free concerts, entertainment for young and old, food trucks and a warm atmosphere: unmissable events to discover the city in a different way.
To experience these typically Nîmes festive moments, don’t wait any longer by making a gourmet and festive stopover in Campuget!
